BIO

Kim Oehme was raised climbing hills, dancing ceilidhs and watching the clouds cross over the foothills of the Cairngorms in the Northeast of Scotland.  Now she is a part of the thriving music scene in Glasgow, where she currently calls home.  Equal parts an accomplished guitar player, an intuitive yet wildly creative songwriter, she also has a voice that embodies both silkiness and grit.  She moves her audience with honest and contemplative songs, inspired by the living folk tradition that crosses all borders, Kim Oehme creates a blend of traditional folk, Americana, Scottish folk and then some.

Kim has performed alongside Cahalen Morrison, Kris Drever, Kathleen MacInnes, Tommy Prine, Ivan Drever and Lizabett Russo, and has played venues around the UK like The Green Note, London, Traverse Theater, Edinburgh, Hug and Pint, Glasgow, The Drygate, Glasgow, Folk House, Bristol, Carnlingi Nights Out, Wales, The Blue Lamp, Aberdeen, Glenbuchat Hall, Glenbuchat among many more.
